On the last night of my stay in Austin, before my 7am flight, which I missed because of drukenness, I had the pleasure and opportunity to spin @ Red Fez with DJ Kurupt and of course my guy Mike Swing. Super dope party and some of the best people in Austin, as evidenced by the bbm picture of me passed out. Shout out to my dude DJ Mike Swing. He was gracious enough to have me come down to Austin, TX this past Saturday and Sunday. Definitely one of the best times of my life and getting to play for new and different crowds is a challenge I am always up for. Anyhow below is the last hour of my set on Saturday night @ Six Lounge. Very top 40 spot, that is owned by Lance Armstrong & in the warehouse Distrct, so it was a big jiggy, but definitely fun as hell. Played some of everything from Pitbull to Human League & of course some Jay.

First stop of the trip was sneaker monster, Nice Kicks. Super Clean shop & really awesome people there. Met the owners and all the staff, an as you would expect on a Saturday afternoon it was crackn.

After the Nice Kicks visit, Mike & I shot over to Rubys BBQ. Shit was incredible. Real Texas BBQ, and the shit was good as can be.

That night we DJ’d @ Six Lounge which was CRACKN! Mixed crowd that wanted to hear everything and kept it moving right until 2am.

The next day we spun @ Union Park where Mike has the best Sunday afternoon brunch in the city of Austin. He definitely is winning with great food, awesome music, and the best looking crowd in Austin on a Sunday. Ppl braved the heat and hung out all day long. Shout out to my wife to be, I’m coming back for you shawty.

Sunday nights in Austin are all about DJ Kurupt & Red Fez. Kurupt is a monster on the turntables, super nasty with the cuts with superb selection and programming. I was given the opportunity to open for him and if I can find the file on my laptop I’ll definitely get it on the site. Just an awesome party w/great people. Really dope. I also got “iced” for the first time and that did me in.

The trip to Austin was beyond awesome. S/O to DJ Mike Swing for all the hospitality, DJ Kurupt for letting me rock, and all of the other awesome people I met. I can’t wait to go back and NOT pass out on Sunday night. Thank you to ATD for helping put everything together as well.
